Dressing up for Halloween will be doubly fun for audiences of all ages this October 31 at Flushing Town Hall: the popular arts and cultural venue is hosting two Grease sing-a-longs – musical events destined to bring out fans dressed as Danny, Sandy, Rizzo, T-Birds, and Pink Ladies.
“Grease is an American staple and one of the most popular musicals on stage and on screen – so we’re excited to welcome legions of fans in their poodle skirts and leather jackets and head back to Rydell High School,” said Ellen Kodadek, Executive and Artistic Director at Flushing Town Hall. “These special screenings are for one night only – so are you ready to hand jive?”
Don those pink jackets, grease up your hair and remember Grease is the word for a sing-a-long to the movie in our stunning theatre on Monday, October 31. The evening will begin with a vocal warm-up, and then a run through of the hand jive! Then sit back and join Danny, Sandy, and the gang, in singing (and dancing) along to the lyrics on the screen.
The event is open to all ages, and Flushing Town Hall will provide goodie bags filled with fun props for only $2. Tickets are on sale now at www.flushingtownhall.org.
