Our new exhibition, Exploring Harmony with Nature, presents the artworks of six global contemporary artists from Korea, China, and Taiwan, whose works explore the possibility of man co-existing with nature in harmony. The exhibition juxtaposes six artists who have explored the possibility of man co-existing in harmony.
Today we would like to introduce you to one of the artists, Wheiza Kim.
Wheiza Kim’s works play with mirror/mind in various ways. As the construction of a kaleidoscope reflects happenings in the mundane world, three mirrors are positioned in order to sharpen the third dimension. The reflection of real and false images intends to express the fantasy world, the product of deflecting images in one’s mind. Kim would like to say that it is a structure of our imagination.
You can see her works in our Gallery. Gallery hours are weekends from Noon to 5:00 PM, or by appointment on weekdays. Suggested admission is $5/free for members and students.
