Flushing Town Hall Celebrates the Harvest Moon

Flushing Town Hall celebrated the Harvest Moon with a sold out event Saturday night: a drum circle in the garden with master drummers from Puerto Rico.

The event began with a workshop led by the Grammy-nominated founder and director of Los Pleneros de la 21, Juan J. Gutiérrez Rodríguez, who was joined by Jorgé “Georgie” Vazquez and José “Joseito” Rivera.

Then group jammed until after dusk, and enjoyed a new tune created by Rodríguez the day before. You can enjoy the new song – Que Bonita Luna – in the video below.
